The inner tube is coated with a clot activator which functions to accelerate blood clotting, not an anticoagulant (so it does not affect the results when storing the tube for pure blood samples).
Can be used for examination of blood chemistry and immunology, such as blood sugars, cholesterol, uric acid, typhoid, dengue fever, syphilis and herpes.
